Written Guide

To access the batch editing feature, firstly navigate to the Timesheet Reports. This can be done by selecting the Timesheets tab, followed by clicking on the Timesheet Reports option.

Selecting Time Entries for Editing

Once inside the Timesheet Reports, you will find a new checkbox column adjacent to the project name. This added functionality allows you to select either individual or multiple time entries for editing. Remember, clicking on the checkbox in the header row will result in the selection of all entries at once.

Editing Selected Time Entries

After you have selected the desired time entries, proceed by clicking on the 'Edit Selected Time Entries' button located at the top of the page.

Making Necessary Changes in the Batch Edit Window

The Batch Edit window is where you can make edits to the selected time entries. Here, you can modify several aspects of a time entry such as assigning a task or changing the project name. For example, if a task has not been assigned to an entry, you can assign it to 'Measure Up' and then click on the 'Save entries' button.

Important: Bear in mind that assigning or adding a task will default to the task's predefined setting. Similarly, 'Measure Up' is set to be billable by default.

You also have the option to modify the project name, the project phase, and determine whether the time entry is billable or marked for variation work.

Saving Changes and Reviewing

Once you have saved your changes, they are reflected in real-time in the Timesheet Report. This instant update allows you to verify your modifications immediately.

Keep in mind that this feature is designed to make the management of your projects more efficient and accurate. Happy editing!
