Group your phases and projects in Coincraft by setting Project Status.

Video Walkthrough

Written Guide

Access the Status tab on the Project Details page to view or modify the project phase status.

Coincraft offers four distinct project statuses: Active, Prospective, On Hold, and Archived.

  • Active: This status is assigned to projects that are confirmed and will appear in your Revenue Forecast.

  • Prospective: This status is designated for projects that are expected to occur in the future but do not have a confirmed date.

  • On Hold: This status is used for projects that are likely to happen in the future but are currently paused.

  • Archived: This status is used for projects that were not successful or have been completed. These projects are removed from the default reports but remain accessible via the Report settings.

Setting % Likelihood

Estimate the chances of winning a particular phase of a project by adjusting the % likelihood. This feature allows you to generate an accurate or semi-accurate prediction of future revenue based on your percentage likelihoods.

In your Revenue Forecast report, the % Likelihood is represented as a shaded region in the graph.

Note: Automatically, setting a project status as Prospective or On Hold sets the % Likelihood to 100 by default. However, you have the flexibility to modify this value or set it to 0 to exclude it from your Forecast.

Purpose of Statuses

Setting statuses for projects provides a systematic approach to group your phases and projects. This safeguards against staff members entering time in the wrong phase.

For instance, if the settings are as shown in the below image, staff members can easily identify which phases they should avoid when creating a timesheet.

To add a time entry, navigate to Timesheets > My Timesheets > click on +Add time entry button > select a project from the Project dropdown > choose the appropriate phase from the Project phase dropdown.
