In Coincraft, tasks can be easily created, and used for functions such as invoicing and recording time. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to do this.

Creating a Task

Navigate to the Project Details page and click on the Tasks tab.

Click on the + Add Task button. In the provided field, enter a title for your task.

For example, you could name your task "Measure Up".

You can set the task status as either Billable or Variation. The Variation status is used when a client requests work that is outside the original scope of the project. After entering the necessary details, click on Save to create the task.

Verifying Task Creation

To verify if the task has been created successfully, go to the Timesheets tab and click on My Timesheets.

Click on the + Add time entry button. In the dropdown menus, select a Project and Project Phase. Click on the Task dropdown menu. If successfully created, your new task should be visible in this list.

If you select this task when creating a timesheet, it will display as a separate row on the timesheet.

You can also use Tasks to filter Timesheet Reports. Just add 'Task' in the Group by field > click Refresh table button.

Expand Project row > expand Phase where you put the specific task under. You should be able to see the task there.
