If you prefer to simply record your time rather than try to recall what happened throughout the day, we recommend our built-in timer. It will remain running even if you loose internet connection or close the Coincraft website.

Written Guide
The Coincraft application features a built-in timer accessible on every page. It's located at the top-right of your menu bar and can be opened by clicking on the clock or time. Once open, you can select your project and start the timer.
Opening the Timer
To access the timer, simply click on the clock icon or time displayed on the top-right of the menu bar.
Play / Pause Function
The timer can be started and stopped at any point using the play and pause buttons. If you've started the timer without selecting the correct project, don't worry. You can always adjust this before saving your time entry.
Using the Budget Bar
If you are assigned a budget for a particular phase of the project, the progress bar below the timer will display your progress. This allows you to visually track your budget usage.
Project / Phase Selector
This function allows you to choose the project or phase you are currently working on and wish to time. If a project isn’t available, reach out to your system administrator to verify your permissions.
Time Entry Options
These switches provide the flexibility of tagging time entries according to their type. Depending on your system settings, the labels may vary, or there may not be any options available.
Reset Time & Notes
This function enables you to reset your timer back to zero and clear any notes you've made. This is particularly useful if you wish to start a new task without any previous time or notes influencing it.
Save Time Entry
Upon completion of your task, you can save your time entry. This action will also reset your timer and clear your notes, preparing you for the next task.
Remember, the timer function also allows for continuous tracking, even if the page is accidentally closed. Simply re-enter the URL and your timer will resume from where it left off. To close the timer panel, just click anywhere outside it and it will automatically close. Happy time tracking with Coincraft!
