Sync your Invoice to your MYOB account in Coincraft.

Video Walkthrough

Written Guide

After you've created your first invoice and wish to sync it to MYOB, you can do so by clicking on the Sync button located at the top right corner. This action will prompt you to select your accounting system. Choose MYOB Essentials from the dropdown menu and click on Connect to MYOB Essentials.

If you are not already logged into MYOB, you will be asked to do so.

Authorizing Coincraft and Setting Up Your Account

After connecting, you'll be asked to authorize Coincraft.

Upon successful authorization, you'll be directed to the Account system settings page.

Here you will need to set up some settings like selecting your sales accounts, taxable income (using GST), and tax-free income (called GST free). Save these settings by clicking on Save Settings.

Importing MYOB Contacts

To successfully sync to MYOB, it's necessary to import your MYOB contacts. An error message will appear if this step is missed.

To import contacts, click on the + sign located beside the Addressed To column. For more information on how to import contacts, refer to our tutorial on Creating Contacts.

After you've imported and saved your contacts, you can click on the Sync button again to finalize syncing your invoice to MYOB.

Viewing Your Invoice in MYOB

To view the synced invoice in MYOB, navigate to your MYOB account > Sales > Invoices. Click on the synced Coincraft Invoice.

Important Notes for MYOB Invoices

Please note that in MYOB, percentage quantities are displayed as decimal values. Also, MYOB does not support phase level grouping as in Coincraft. It combines all the phases into a single invoice.

Therefore, it's recommended to make your line item descriptions clear and detailed for clients to understand what they are being billed for, especially without the phase groupings in Coincraft.

You can modify line items in MYOB if needed. However, keep in mind that if you sync the invoice again with Coincraft, the edited values in MYOB will be overridden by Coincraft.
