Sync your Invoice to your QuickBooks account in Coincraft.

Video Walkthrough

Written Guide

Once you've created your first invoice and are ready to sync it with QuickBooks, simply click the Sync button located in the top-right corner. This will open your Accounting system settings. Select QuickBooks from the dropdown menu, then hit the Connect to QuickBooks button.

If you weren't previously logged in, you'll be prompted to do so. After logging in, you'll be asked to authorize a connection between your QuickBooks account and Coincraft. Click Connect to proceed.

Once the connection is successful, you'll be redirected to the Account system settings page.

Here, you'll need to select options for all fields, including tax types like taxable income and tax-free income. Click Save settings to finalize your selections.

Addressing Potential Errors

After saving, you may encounter an error message. This often occurs when there are no QuickBooks contacts imported into Coincraft.

To rectify this, import your QuickBooks contacts by clicking on the + sign next to the Addressed To column. You can learn more about how to import contacts by consulting the Creating Contacts article.

Once the error is resolved, you can hit the Sync button again to sync your invoice with QuickBooks.

Viewing Synced Invoice in QuickBooks

To view your synced invoice in QuickBooks, navigate to your QuickBooks account, select Sales, then All Sales. Here, you'll find the Coincraft Invoice you previously synced.

Differences in Invoice Views

Please note that percentage quantities are represented as decimal values in QuickBooks. Furthermore, QuickBooks does not support phase level groupings as seen in Coincraft. Instead, all phases are combined into a single invoice.

Therefore, it's essential to ensure your line items are descriptive enough for your clients to understand without the phase groupings.

You can modify line items in QuickBooks as needed. However, be aware that any edits made in QuickBooks will be overridden if you sync again in Coincraft.
